Service 01 · Human-machine interface

Your operators should never hesitate in front of a screen

We design the HMI that drive your machines and lines: readable from three metres, usable with gloves, and connected to your existing PLCs.

Supervision screen for a packaging line: cycle rate gauges, scrap rate, production curve and alarm log

The service at a glance

Change the way your teams talk to the machine

A custom HMI bridges the gap between a complex industrial system and the operator who has to decide in seconds. We design clear, efficient and reliable interfaces that make controlling and monitoring your process immediately understandable.

The result is measurable: fewer human errors, shorter reaction times and genuine operational visibility over what is happening in production.

Key features

  • Supervision and monitoring — real-time dashboards for the shop floor, SCADA systems and process visualisation.
  • PLC integration — compatible with OPC UA, Modbus, CAN, Profibus and other industrial protocols.
  • Hardware adaptation — optimised for touchscreens, industrial panels and control stations.
  • Operator-centred design — screen layout mirroring the real sequence of work at the station.
  • Alarm management — prioritisation, traceable acknowledgement and usable historical logging.

Use cases

What our HMI actually do

Data visualisation and smart alerts

Critical process values displayed continuously, with configurable thresholds and alerts that tell information apart from urgency.

Real-time production line monitoring

Cycle rate, scrap rate, machine availability and batch counters, consolidated on a single screen accessible from the station or from process engineering.

Recipes and changeovers

Recipe selection, parameter checks before start-up and traceability of every change, to cut changeover times.

The expected outcome

An HMI that works for your team, not against it

Reduce human error, improve reaction times and make activity genuinely visible: those are the three objectives we write into the specification, with indicators measured before and after commissioning.

  • −60 %

fewer entry errors after redesigning a packaging HMI

  • 2 days

average time for operators to get up to speed

  • <100 ms

    display latency on critical variables

  • 24/7

    continuous operation demonstrated at acceptance

Frequently asked questions

Questions about HMI development

The HMI drives a machine or a cell from a local panel: commands, states, alarms. The SCADA system supervises several machines or a whole shop floor from a central station, with historical logging and reporting. We build both, and the local HMI feeds its data to the SCADA system over OPC UA or MQTT.

Yes. We build the new interface in parallel on a test bench connected to a copy of the PLC, then switch over during a planned shutdown, usually in less than one shift. The old version stays available as a fallback until sign-off.

Yes. We size the touch targets for gloved operation, raise the contrast for reading in bright daylight as well as low light, and provide fallback navigation using the keyboard or the panel's physical keys.
